The short version: your data is yours, we collect the minimum, we sell none of it, and you can leave with everything whenever you like. The longer version follows.
1. What we collect
Account details you give us (name, email, date of birth), transaction data generated when you use VOLT, and device data that keeps your account secure. We collect nothing we don’t need to run the service.
2. How we use it
To move your money, prevent fraud, meet our legal obligations, and make the product better. We never sell your personal data. Aggregated, anonymised statistics may be used in research like The Current.
3. Where it lives
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in the UK and EEA. Card details are tokenised — we never store your full PAN.
4. Your rights
Access, correct, export, or delete your data any time from the app, or email privacy@volt.money. We respond within 30 days, usually much faster.
